Zweimal Jahr findet in Frankfurt die Modemesse Stilblüten statt, bei der Mode-, Accessoires- und Schmuckdesigner ihre Arbeiten präsentieren. Vertreten war natürlich meine liebe Freundin Miss Tula Trash, aber auch Andrea von Kunst & Keule mit ihren “Kommando KilleKille” Dosenmonstern und Paula Mainhattan, über die ich hier sicher demnächst noch etwas schreiben werde.
Viele Sachen bei den Stilblüten entsprechen nicht so meinem Geschmack, für mich als Liebhaberin stylish-taillierter Sachen waren da einfach viel zu viele labberige Hängerkleider dabei … Verliebt habe ich mich dann aber doch, in die Schürze Candice von Sheela – Housewife Revolution aus Österreich.
Ein absolut süßes Schürzchen mit Tupfen und Cupcakes drauf – fast zu schade für die Küche. Vielleicht mal beim nächsten Hausfrauen-DJ-Abend?

Twice a year Frankfurt hosts the Stilblüten fashion event, presenting fashion, accessories and jewelry by young designers. Of course, my good friend Miss Tula Trash was there, also Andrea who owns the Kunst & Keule shop in Bornheim and creates furry little monsters out of old tins, and jewelry designer Paula Mainhattan.
A lot of things at Stilblüten don’t match my taste, since I prefer vintage looking tailored stuff instead of loose-fitting mumsy outfits. But I did discover a lovely apron called Candice by Sheela – Housewife Revolution from Austria. It’s a lovely retro-styled apron with cupcakes and dots that’s almost too cute to wear in the kitchen. Maybe I’ll wear it on my next housewife-themed DJ night!
